Trumpeter and singer David O’Neill hits 25 years of Music & Ministry and has joined hands with some of Latin music’s great players to launch a new CD and tour.
 
With a sound and style comparable to The Miami Sound Machine and Santana, david & La Roca brings an exciting, powerful and refreshing Latin flavor to praise & worship music.
 
David has performed with such artists as Michael MacDonald, Bette Midler, Ron Kenoly, Dianna Ross, Dionne Warwick, Arturo Sandoval, Chuck Finley, and Al Denson. He has also recorded for Brentwood Music, Benson, and was nominated for a Dove award while on Diadem records.

Joining David vocally are Melodie Joy Gutierrez and Danny Rivera. Melodie Joy and Danny are destined to command the world’s attention. Melodie was a featured artist with One-Voice Productions and has recorded with such artists as Clint Brown, William McDowell, G-Notes, Bingo, as well as Alvaro Lopes and Danny Rojas. When Danny is not traveling with La Roca he is a featured tenor at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, FL.

It is time to stop talking about unity and bi-lingual institutions, and join together, actualize it, and make it a “seen reality”.

As Christians, we all know the words and concept that we are to give our lives in totality to Him. John 17:21 says, “ that all may be as one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you”, however, how many Christians are still struggling with making this a reality and watching all races struggle with many basic issues?

La Roca (The Rock) rests on the firm foundation that God Himself has established in Isaiah 28:16 …JESUS is the ROCK of our salvation.

Along with presenting a power-packed anointed time of praise & worship, we are excited to share with congregations and listening audiences the stories and struggles of real life issues and why we are so far off track today. Throughout our presentation we give answers that actualize the benefits of giving God TOTAL DOMINATION in ALL aspects of our lives.

The blood of Jesus changed history and destiny for the entire world. His blood was shed for all mankind, all races and all people. True Pentecost occurred when men and woman from every race, culture and generation gathered together in one house and began to worship and exalt the Lord freely as one without separation. The power that was generated during this time of undivided unity exploded and manifested outside the house and opened the world to just a touch of the power of God. Imagine, if we took that same power now with the size of our congregations today, how it would impact, unite, and become that "seen reality" across our lands.

As we look around, watch the news and read the papers, they are filled with anger, rapes, murders, pornography, child abuse, discouragement, sexual identities, low self-esteem and un-expectance. Motivational speeches are …motivating. They don’t save lives, stop the crime or heal the hearts and minds. They are simply …feel good words, temporary sensations until the next fall or meeting. Drugs and alcohol addictions, pornographic movies and lustful acts in reality do the same. They give a temporary fix until the next weak moment. The time of serving milk and cookies to entice the hurting and weak to come to the next motivational speech isn’t working.

We are created in His image, surrounded by a natural world, living according to a fallen mentality because of what took place in the garden. Let’s join together and bring it back to “In the beginning, GOD Created...!”
